Job Description ABOUT THE COMPANYOur client is proudly New Zealand owned and operated and are a market leader in the rural and construction sectors.
They manufacture and distribute a wide range of high-quality steel products including wire farm fencing which is exported around the globe.
ABOUT THE ROLEThis is a unique opportunity to work alongside the current sales team based in Christchurch.
You will optimise sales by managing the customer interface and using yourinternational freight and logistics experience to support our rural products in international markets.
The role will suit someone who enjoys the diversity of trading in different cultures, flexible work hours and able to respond quickly to communications of differing time zones.
ABOUT YOUHaving dealt in International markets and ideally having a freight forwarding/supply chain/logistics background you will need to be friendly, approachable, disciplined and self-motivated with high attention to detail, you will also have the below attributes;Key account management and growth from existing clientsInitiating new business opportunities and implementing sales strategyCustomer and supplier relationship buildingWorking effectively with colleagues to ensure KPI's are met and surpassedRelevant tertiary qualifications in business or international businessInternational sales experienceAn affinity with and preferably direct experience with the productsThe ability to travel internationally when requiredAn intuitive, engaging and outgoing personalityA natural relationship builder who establishes credibility quicklyAmbition, drive and determination combined with worldly commercial acumenThe ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlinesStrong systems skills and knowledge of MS applications - especailly excelThe ability to pick up new products and learn quicklyExperience in the rural sector and/or rural fencing products would be an advantageSOUND LIKE YOU?Are you ready to go places with your career?Apply via the link or call Craig Stephenson directly on 021 571 662 if you would like to discuss your suitability to the role prior to applying.NOT QUITE YOU?Always wondered why you hear about your dream job after its gone?
