A growing manufacturing business with a strong global footprint, supplying high-quality food and beverage ingredients worldwide. As the New Zealand site continues to expand, they are seeking an Export Coordinator to join their team in Tokoroa for a 6-month fixed-term contract.
About the Role
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Export Coordinator will handle all aspects of export operations. In this role, you will be responsible for:
Preparing and managing export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and export declarations, ensuring full compliance with international shipping requirements.
Coordinating with freight forwarders and customs agents to facilitate smooth and timely shipments.
Serving as the primary contact for vendors and logistics partners, managing schedules, tracking shipments, and resolving shipping issues.
Communicating proactively with both internal and external stakeholders, keeping everyone updated on order processing and shipment statuses.
Managing and monitoring shipping-related costs, including MPI charges, container holds, and demurrage fees.
Staying updated with changes in export regulations.
What We're Looking For
At least 1 year of experience in export operations; a solid grasp of compliance and regulations is beneficial.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.
Detail-oriented and strategically minded, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
A team player who is eager to learn and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
