EXPERIENCED SUPPORT WORKERS – OTAGO REGION We are seeking up to 10 Support Workers.
The positions offered are permanent placements within the above region.

As Community Care Trust operates a 24/7 service to our community, our support workers are required to work on a rotating roster, which may include nights (sleep-over or wake-over shifts) and weekend shifts, generally with two consecutive rostered days off per week.

Minimum Requirements: A level 4 New Zealand Health & Wellbeing certificate (or equivalencies that have an IQA assessment from NZQA) or A minimum of 3 years relevant work experience as a support worker. Wage rates start at $26.94 to $29.10 per hour gross taxable, depending on your level of qualification.
Contracted hours are from 32 to 40 hours per week.
Note: Guaranteed 32 hours exclusive of sleepovers.

Our work is varied, as we partner with a range of people including those with an intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorder, youth, dual diagnosis, and those with a disability who have committed a criminal offence.

To work for us you must:

Hold a current First Aid Certificate (or be willing to complete one at our cost). Hold a FULL current NZ Driver License (or have the ability to obtain one). Be legally eligible to work in New Zealand. Have a valid work visa with a minimum of 12 months until expiry. Go ahead and apply now.
