We are 100% New Zealand-owned and operated and a proud member of the Talley's Group; New Zealand's leading exporter of meat, dairy, seafood, and vegetable products.Job DescriptionThe Rendering/Effluent Operator plays a key part in ensuring that the department is operating effectively. You will also work with the Rendering Supervisor to ensure any maintenance of the area is carried out in a timely and cost-effective manner alongside implementing new systems when appropriate.Occasional call out and weekend/shift work will be required for this permanent position.QualificationsThe successful applicant will demonstrate the following:Relevant experience; preferably in a rendering environment. Experience in food manufacturing or engineering would also be considered.Organisational skills and the capability to cope with a variety of priorities and demands.Communicate effectively and work well within a team.A good standard of computer literacy and administrative experience.A strong commitment to Health and Safety.Additional InformationTo ensure a safe workplace, AFFCO engage in pre-employment medical checks and drug screening.
