This position is fulltime permanent, and the successful candidate will be based from our Vulcan Profiles site in Hornby, Christchurch.
Requirements This will suit a hands on person who has a problem solving brain and good attention to detail.
You will like working with equipment/machinery and have a good mathematical ability.
You will be responsible for programming and set up of machine.
Monitoring the work flow of machine and identifying and reporting any issues.
We would like operator to have a minimum of 2 years hands on experience on a Press brake Machine for this role in a manufacturing capacity.
We will offer a great stable and safe work environment, opportunities to upskill and learn how to operate other machinery such as CNC and laser/plasma machines and strong career opportunities.
You will need to be Reliable Minimum 2 years experience on a Press brake machine in a manufacturing / production environment folding Mild Steel Able to work overtime when required (plenty of overtime available) Night shift 4.15pm - 2.45am Mon - Thu (4 x 10 hour days) Have a full class 1 licence and transport to and from work A competitive hourly rate is on offer depending on level of experience We pay time and half for any overtime hours above 40hrs.
