Job Description: Modern Music Learning is seeking an experienced Piano Tutor to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality piano instruction to students of varying ages and skill levels. The position requires teaching on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 3:30pm to 7:30pm Roles and Responsibilities: Instruction: Conduct engaging and effective piano lessons tailored to the individual needs and goals of each student. Lesson Planning: Prepare lesson plans and materials in advance, ensuring they align with the curriculum and student learning objectives. Technique Development: Teach proper piano techniques, including finger placement, hand coordination, dynamic control, and sight-reading. Repertoire Selection: Assist students in selecting appropriate piano pieces and exercises based on their skill levels and musical interests. Performance Preparation: Prepare students for performances, auditions, and competitions as needed, ensuring they are well-rehearsed and confident. Feedback and Evaluation: Evaluate students' progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their piano skills. Communication: Maintain open communication with students and their parents/guardians regarding progress, scheduling, and any concerns. Professional Development: Stay updated with current piano techniques, educational methods, and trends in music education. Studio Management: Maintain a clean and organized teaching environment conducive to learning and practice. Flexibility: Be available to teach additional hours or days as needed, especially on Fridays, depending on student demand and scheduling. Qualifications: Proven experience as a piano instructor with a track record of successful student outcomes. Proficiency in teaching various piano styles and techniques. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Patience and the ability to work effectively with students of all ages. Degree in Piano Performance, Music Education, or equivalent experience preferred.
