Experienced Machine Operator THE COMPANY Drake Masterton are currently seeking experienced Machine Operators to work in the Wairarapa region but may include some travelling to the wider Wellington region and beyond THE ROLE While you need to be competent in operating a range of machines including Diggers Rollers Loaders and Trucks you also need to know how to use a shovel and not be afraid of getting your hands dirty as this is not an operating only position and a certain level of manual handling is required Some administrative duties will be part of your duties as well i e making sure dockets are filled out correctly for job orders This role operates mainly Monday to Friday however weekend and night work may also be required as the job demands SKILLS EXPERIENCE To be successful in this position you need to meet the following criteria You need to hold a current Class 2 license and WTR endorsement The ability to work and communicate well within a team environment is a must for this role You will need to display initiative and the ability to follow instruction Previous operating experience is necessary so you can hit the ground running Prepared to travel for work if required Site safe Traffic management and First Aid a bonus but not a necessity www drakeintl com
