Location: Porirua, Wellington

Description
We are looking for experienced labourers, preferably with a civils background. You will need to be physically fit, have a Full Clean Drivers Licence, your own transport as well as experience using a 3 tonne Tipper.

Responsibilities may include:

Site Preparation: Clearing and preparing work sites, including moving materials and setting up equipment.

Material Handling: Transporting, loading, and unloading materials, and organizing supplies.

Basic Construction Tasks: Assisting with tasks such as digging trenches, mixing concrete, or erecting scaffolding.

Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance and minor repairs on tools and equipment.

Clean-Up: Keeping the work area clean and organized, including disposing of waste and debris.

Assisting Skilled Workers: Supporting carpenters, electricians, plumbers, or other tradespeople as needed.

Safety Compliance: Following safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Skills and qualifications:

Physical Stamina: Ability to perform strenuous tasks and work in various weather conditions.

Basic Tools Knowledge: Familiarity with hand tools and machinery.

Attention to Detail: Ensuring tasks are completed accurately and safely.

Communication Skills: Working effectively with supervisors and other team members.

Safety Awareness: Understanding and following safety protocols to prevent accidents.

To be considered for this role, you will need to be eligible to work in New Zealand (evidence required) and pass a Pre-Employment Background Check clean MOJ & Drug Test.
