Experienced Front Of House Staff - Central Christchurch

The Christchurch Club, founded in 1856, is a traditional private members club.
With an active calendar of events and busy restaurants, we are looking for an experienced food & beverage professional to join our team.
These tasks are varied - working within a team, assisting with functions include setup and pack down, bar service, barista service and delivering a very high standard of dining.
The Club provides a high level of service and facilities to its own members and to members of more than 100 reciprocal clubs worldwide.
Key responsibilities: Our ideal candidates will have a passion for food and fantastic wine knowledge, with strong service skills.
You will need the versatility to look after large groups in addition to private diners, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a high functioning team.
Skills and Knowledge: Experience in a food and beverage role Excellent communication skillsThe ability to work as part of a small teamHard working, efficient, reliable and trustworthyImpeccable presentation and an eye for detailFood and beverage knowledge including bar service, wine knowledge and barista experience (desirable).The Club is open Tuesday to Saturday and is closed for the 3 weeks over the Christmas/New Year period, a very unique hospitality opportunity.
