This position is permanent for 46 weeks of the year running from approximately *mid-January to mid-November each year.
There would be an agreed closedown period for no more than 6 weeks each year between mid-November to mid-January, a great opportunity for a summer break!

This role will be reporting to our Inwards Goods Supervisor.
In this role you will: · operate our forklifts to locate bins, finished goods and packaging in a way that protects the quality of our product for our customers · ensure safe and effective forklift operations take place so that we can all continue to Rockit Safely Every Day · operate in house scanning and data capture equipment for accurate tracking of inventory on site and leaving site daily · be one of our key forklift operators post-harvest by providing guidance and support to our seasonal employees and contractors · be flexible to provide support to other Rockit teams based on peak and off-peak requirements · actively promote a positive health and safety culture Keen to find out more?

What Rocks You We are looking for someone who: · loves to operate a forklift · Has a Class 5 license (preferred but not essential) · is an experienced forklift operator with a current license (3 years +) · has great attention to detail and appreciates the importance of accurate inventory recording · is willing and keen to work up to 6 days per week and up to 65 hours per week post- harvest · has experience in coolstores and/or locating into racking (preferable) · is legally able to work in NZ · is reliable and loves to work as part of a wider team · can work unsupervised upon completion of induction and role training Good Stuff · Competitive pay rates $31 per hour · Health insurance · Rockin culture You must be legally able to work in New Zealand, have a full driver's license and be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
