Fitters, Turners & Machinists (Trades & Services)Full timeExperienced Fitter Welder Required (Workshop & Site Services positions available):Coastal Services is a well-established growing company involved in all facets of engineering including fabrication, offshore, gas & petrochemical, mechanical, general & marine. We set high standards through the pride in our work and are committed to the well-being of our staff and Health & Safety in the workplace. We are currently building new facilities.This role will require a large aspect of physical activity as you will be exposed to several environments, including work on board ships, confined space, and workshop fabrication/projects. You will also be required from time to time to work away from home.The ideal candidate will have:3-5 years' + experiencePreferably competent in carbon steel pipe welding, previously held ASME IX welder qualifications.Competent in MIG, TIG and stick welding.Capable of following instructionsAbility to read & interpret plans/engineering drawings.Ability to work unsupervised as well as in a team environment.Good time management skills & work to a very high standard.Demonstrate good Health & Safety practices and maintain this as a top priority.Competent with a variety of power tools.Physically fit & reliableHave a current NZ driver's licence.This role is full time working Monday-Friday from 7.00 – 3.30pm with the opportunity for a lot of overtime if desired.We are a well-established company and can offer a competitive wage, ongoing training, great facilities and an awesome team environment.This position is only for candidates that are NZ Residents or able to work legally in New Zealand.
