We are looking for experienced fabricators to join our team in Timaru.
About you: To be considered you must have the following skills and attributes:
Minimum 5 years' experience in the structural steel industry, specifically heavy fabrication An ability to interpret and understand structural steel drawingsFabricating/Welding and assembly as per shop drawings and relevant proceduresAbility to determine the kind of tools and equipment needed to do the jobAssist in squaring up and welding various geometries of componentsUnderstand various weld symbols on drawings Fit up and working with welders where requiredDevelops templates and other work aids to hold and align partsGood understanding of English - written, verbal and readingAbility to work in a multi-cultural environmentBe able to take direction and constructive criticism from peersDisplay initiative and ability to work independently, but also able to work as part of a teamCompetent in using overhead gantry craneBe willing and able to work overtime and weekendsWhat we offer: State of the art equipmentFantastic team environment YOU MUST BE CURRENTLY LIVING IN NZ TO APPLY Interested?  Then apply now!
