Experience Process Work/Machine Operator Wanted Throughout Wellington!

We are looking for experienced Process Workers/Machine Operators to join our business, Extrastaff Limited. Our growing business requires an organised and trustworthy individual who prides themselves on quality workmanship. You will be motivated and results-driven.

You might be asked to work across the country to assist our projects, so flexibility on work locations is preferred.

The Process Worker/Machine Operator is responsible for:

Operation of aluminium extrusion, processing and manufacturing machinery and equipment

Warehousing and stock control

Order picking, packing and processing

Packing and dispatch of raw, semi, and finished goods.

Powder coating, surface finishing, anodising, and/or fabrication and assembly of parts.

Operation, monitoring and general maintenance of powder coating and chemical treatment plants

Operation of general aluminium processing equipment such as CNCs, Thermal Breaking lines, punch presses, and saws.

Onsite installation of aluminium structures and cladding

General cleaning and maintenance of workplace to maintain standards

Skills and experience required:

Preferably a minimum of 1 year relevant experience or qualification equivalent to NZQF level 2 or 3. However, we accept any candidates who have minimal industrial experience and are willing to learn.

Friendly, with good time management and an excellent work ethic are essential

Time management skills

A commitment to learning and developing your skills within the industry

Sound knowledge of H and S procedures

Reliable and hardworking

Pay Conditions:

Min $27.76 per hour to a maximum of $30 per hour

Hours of work:

Minimum 30 hours of work is guaranteed

Location:

You may be required to work in multiple locations throughout New Zealand including Auckland, Northland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Hawkes Bay, Taranaki, Gisborne, Whanganui-Manawatu, Wellington, Marlborough, Nelson-Tasman, Canterbury, West Coast, Otago, and Southland.

This role will be a permanent and full-time job.
