Lead the operational management of the University's information hub and enquiries management functions which provide professional and welcoming services to prospects, students and the public.
This role is responsible for a team of permanent and casual staff who utilise our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to provide first-contact enquiries resolution and pastoral care triaging support in alignment with recruitment and retention goals.
Some tasks of the role include: Service management - prospects, students, whanau and the public experience quality and responsive first-contact services.
Recruitment & retention - student recruitment and retention goals are supported through the delivery of comprehensive CRM-driven enquiries management, professional pastoral care support and innovative student experience initiatives.
Team leadership - ensuring your team puts students at the heart of everything and services are always conducted to a high standard.
This is a permanent role working 37.5 hours per week based at our Lincoln Campus.
The salary range is set at $60,000 - $65,000 per annum.
To be successful in this role you will need: A relevant tertiary qualification and/or significant equivalent experience, preferably in the education sector.
Experience utilising CRM (Dynamics preferred) for sales, queue management, service management and enquiries automation.
Understanding of the Education (Pastoral Care of Tertiary and International Learners) Code of Practice 2021 is essential.
Understanding of positive youth development through strengths-based learning.
Demonstrated experience supporting young people in a pastoral care or other support function, preferably in an education environment.
Experience in managing staff, setting priorities and ensuring a consistent and responsive service approach.
