To have pre-loved fashion in every wardrobe across Australasia.The RoleAs the Experience & Design Lead, you will report to the Head of Marketing and play a pivotal role in shaping Designer Wardrobe's user experience, digital presence, and creative direction.
This hybrid role combines UX/UI design expertise with hands-on execution in marketing and product development.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including the CEO and development team, to drive engagement, enhance the customer journey, and deliver standout digital experiences across New Zealand and Australia.ResponsibilitiesUX/UI Design- Lead the design and optimisation of DW's digital platforms, ensuring an intuitive, seamless, and engaging user experience- Collaborate with product and development teams to implement user-centric designs that align with business goals and brand aesthetics- Conduct user research and usability testing to identify opportunities for improvement- Work cross-functionally, including with the CEO, to support innovative product initiatives and enhance platform engagement- Autonomously identify and run A/B tests to improve user retention and engagement- Bring gamification elements to the platform to make it more engaging and interactive for usersContent & Creative Execution- Partner with our Social Strategist in executing Designer Wardrobe's digital content strategy, focusing on ads and organic social- Create assets that adhere to DW's brand guidelines while infusing your own creative spin to captivate audiences- Design and produce marketing assets for social media, email campaigns, and digital advertisingData-Driven Growth- Analyse user behavior and content performance to inform UX and marketing strategies- Generate insights to optimise campaigns, improve engagement, and drive conversions- Partner with Head of Marketing and Social Strategist on campaign ideas to acquire new buyers and sellersWhat You'll BringExperience & Skills:- 2+ years in UX/UI, design, digital marketing, or a related role, with proven success in crafting user-centric digital experiences.- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma & Adobe Creative Suite.- A creative mindset to contribute fresh ideas while adhering to brand standards.Mindset & Approach:- Entrepreneurial "think like an owner" spirit with a proactive, adaptable, and optimistic attitude.- A willingness to collaborate cross-functionally, including direct input and strategic discussions with the CEO and design teams.- Analytical thinker with the ability to make data-informed decisions.Nice To Have- Experience designing UX/UI for e-commerce platforms or online marketplaces, with a strong understanding of user flows, purchase journeys, and conversion optimization- Familiarity with implementing gamified features or interactive elements to enhance user engagement- Strong storytelling and copywriting skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives across formatsWhat We offer- A vibrant, Parnell-based office with flexible work-from-home arrangements.- A shiny new MacBook to get the job done.- Perks like free car parking, your birthday off, and two personal days per year.- Regular team lunches, coffee on tap, snacks, and even a pinball machine for creative breaks.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in New Zealand?
