Executive/ Senior Executive, Research Office, School Of Computing

The candidate reports to the Head of the NUS School of Computing Research Office and works closely with the research grant administration team to manage both internally funded as well as externally funded research grants from government agencies and industries.
The candidate will receive training and the opportunity to carry out assignments in the following areas:Act as the primary liaison in the preparation and submission of project proposals, agreements, budget plans and reports.Administer research grants and reconcile accounts statements.Monitor the research project funds utilization and provide periodic updates.Coordinate with grantors, track the receipt of funds, prepare documents for audit and process payments and claims.Coordinate the re-appointments of research staff and the engagement of students.Liaise with researchers and vendors on the procurement of goods and services.Serve as secretariat for meetings and prepare presentation material.Coordinate the publicity and logistics preparation for conferences and workshops.QualificationsBachelor's Degree with no work experience or Polytechnic Diploma with work experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentDemonstrate initiative and good interpersonal communication skillsGood writing skillsAnalytical, numerate, resourceful and energeticAble to multi-task and deliver under tight deadlinesStrong sense of customer serviceAn initial 2 years' contract will be offered, subject for extensionOnly shortlisted candidates will be notified.More InformationLocation: Kent Ridge CampusOrganization: School of ComputingDepartment: Dean's Office (School of Computing)Employee Referral Eligible: YesJob requisition ID: 26573
