What You'll Do:Supervise the functioning and operations of Emergency Response & Regulators Maintenance Unit and budget preparation.Ensure that the expenditure for the operations & maintenance of the gas distribution network is within the allocated budget.Planning, execution and monitoring of the schedule of maintenance for the gas distribution network.Plan, propose and carry out improvement works to the gas distribution network to enhance the safety and reliability of gas supply in the system.Review and ensure safe works practices of the Unit and compliance with the Workplace Safety & Health Act.Procurement, specifications writing for purchase of materials, tools and equipment.Ensure the adequate stock level of equipment and repair accessories for emergencies or planned works.Ensure that the tools and equipment for maintenance works of the Unit are adequate and properly maintained for operation readiness.Ensure proper training and competency of the staff in carrying out the operations & maintenance of the gas distribution network.Ensure the operations of the Unit meets the KPIs set down by the regulator.Compile operational statistics and conduct evaluation for implementation of improvement measures.Carry out emergency standby duties.What You'll Need:Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent discipline from recognised university by PEB, Singapore.Technical knowledge in the operations and maintenance of the gas distribution network or gas facilitywould be advantageousSkills in project planning, execution and managementStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, resourceful and meticulousHighly motivated and pro-active with the ability to work both independently as well as in a teamPossess a valid driving license and having own transport would be advantageous
