In this role you will be responsible for designing, developing, and leading the creation of customer valued products and solutions. You will be accountable for leading the Consumer portfolio and underwriting teams and capability.
Key Responsibilities Own and lead the execution of the Suncorp NZ Consumer portfolio.Develop and deliver value propositions that address customer need.Define and oversee centres of excellence across Consumer including product management, underwriting and market pricing for motor, home, and contents portfolios.Drive value for our customers and partners, maximising sustainable profits and generating sustainable growth.Oversee and drive the identification of new opportunities to enhance the customer experience.Manage within approved portfolio budget.Maintain and build Partner relationships internally and externally.Lead and develop team capability through effective coaching, mentoring and professional development.What you will need to succeed Ideally 10+ years' experience in personal lines product management, pricing and / or underwriting leadership.Extensive senior experience in the insurance or financial services market environment (ideally within a personal or commercial insurance setting).Exposure to general insurance pricing (technical and/or market facing).The ability to work in an agile environment, confident with change management as well as negotiating and influencing others.Excellent communication skills with proven ability to communicate strategic direction.Demonstrated experience with mentoring / coaching others.What we can offer you Competitive salary and the ability to earn annual bonuses through our incentive scheme.Free life, salary continuance and trauma insurance cover.Discounts on Asteron Life, Vero, Southern Cross medical insurance.Flexible leave of up to four days per year in addition to annual leave.Flexible work arrangements embracing a healthy work/life balance.Be a part of our strong leadership team creating a positive and inclusive environment for all employees.
