Each Rixos property presents a unique experience inspired by local culture, global influences, and our Turkish heritage, all within a setting of unparalleled luxury.Job DescriptionJob ResponsibilitiesOversee Housekeeping operations, including Laundry and Internal Communication Center, ensuring hotel standards and procedures are known and followed.Ensure all rooms are prepared and inspected as per standards and according to guest requests, including turn-down service.Maintain flower decorations in rooms and public areas as per required standards.Oversee upkeep of all front of house areas, including hotel entrance.Ensure upkeep of designated back of house areas.Regularly check night shift for cleaning.Maintain appropriate stock levels for smooth Housekeeping and Laundry operations and approve requisitions accordingly.Conduct inventories of linen, uniforms, and other applicable items as scheduled.Manage relationships with suppliers and contractors.Oversee Pest Control service and establish schedules with the Stewarding Manager and Chief Engineer.Implement housekeeping-related HACCP procedures.Engage in sustainable development and apply energy and waste management practices.Monitor cost control and suggest savings programs.Ensure linen and uniform management and handling procedures are respected.Implement Focus and other financial procedures.Supervise Lost and Found, maintain records, and mail packages to clients.Be aware of all VIPs visiting or staying in the hotel and personally inspect VIP rooms.Conduct regular room and public area inspections with Engineering Department on deviations from standard setups and maintenance.Liaise with Front Office on scheduling rooms for maintenance programs.Ensure close coordination with Front Office, Engineering, Food and Beverage, and Guest Relations regarding guest requests.Review Night Audit reports related to Housekeeping daily.Assist in operations and monitor, highlight, and suggest improvements on dysfunctions.Ensure proper coverage and supervision of Housekeeping sections at all times.Set performance targets for associates and monitor staff productivity.Ensure proper use of all equipment and property management systems, with perfect knowledge of setups.Control access to room keys and section keys.Implement and follow up daily checklists.Prepare forecasts and statistics.Respect schedules, terms, and deadlines as agreed with Management.Ensure all team members are aware of outlet timings and promote internal activities and events.Keep team members updated with the latest administrative, organizational, operational, or other changes and news.Conduct daily line-up briefing with Housekeeping and Laundry supervisors to recap tasks and activities.Share daily activity highlights with the Director of Operations, including internal and external guest opportunities.Assist the Director of Operations in administrative responsibilities and monitoring activities; replace him whenever needed.Promote loyalty programs and build long-term relationships with guests.Ensure guests enjoy their stay with the finest personal service.Escort guests rather than pointing out directions.Respect guest privacy and confidentiality of information.Act as a representative of Management when dealing with guest complaints or assisting Housekeeping team members.Manage guest complaints professionally, resolving them to satisfaction and recording outcomes.Consult Director of Operations or Hotel Manager for advice in serious cases or when approval is required.Report all guest comments or complaints accurately.Ensure accurate follow-up of Guest History records.Utilize telephone etiquette as per Rixos standards.Interview potential candidates and assist in new team members' integration with the People & Culture Department.Create an atmosphere of high morale and positive working relationships among staff.Conduct staff evaluations and surveys, developing motivation and performance action plans.Engage in staff retention and satisfaction initiatives.Ensure training and regular "refresher" courses are conducted and attended as scheduled.What We OfferAn innovative and fast-growing international group, committed to building new hotels and creating a global brand.The opportunity to challenge the norm and work in a creative and rewarding environment.Be part of a team passionate about creating great hotel experiences and building a portfolio of brands.Great discounts on the entire Ennismore family.Many opportunities to progress and change as part of a global family of brands.An annual calendar of diversity and inclusion events that gives you opportunities to learn, celebrate, and make a positive impact.QualificationsDiploma or degree in vocational hospitality, with 8–10 years of experience in a 4-5 star hotel.
