Join a friendly, encouraging, and collaborative team.The OpportunityWe are looking for an emerging leader who will be responsible for the strategic and day-to-day account management of Aon's relationships with assigned clients within the construction industry.
As an Executive Director, you will service and develop the growth of existing construction business and investigate and target proposals for new construction business opportunities including referrals from the Aon branch network.Responsibilities for this role include:Renewal book co-ordination and ownershipSeek and assist with new business team targets – external or internal source of new businessPerform client contract reviews (insurance clauses)Client and prospect insurance presentationsPrepare and process accurate and concise premium calculationsProvide professional documentation to both clients and insurersMaintain up-to-date client filesCo-ordinate client renewalsClient and underwriter credit controlFrom time to time you may be required to perform other duties within the normal business activities of the companyTo be successful in this role you should display:Proven experience in a similar role5 years' experience within the insurance industryAbility to engage with senior stakeholders and build strategic relationshipsExcellent negotiation skillsA collaborative mindset with the ability to work collaboratively and assist othersGood organisation, planning, and a can-do attitudeAon Culture & BenefitsAt Aon, we provide colleagues with the support to make a positive impact together with ongoing opportunities for development, including the support of a team which will continually inspire you to achieve your best.In order to perform this role, you will need to have either the requisite professional qualifications to be a financial adviser under the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013 or meet the conditions for an exemption from the qualification requirements until March 2023.Aon is an equal opportunity employer, and we invite you to be part of an organisation that has a diverse workplace, values continuous learning, and supports many charities and environmental initiatives.
