Executive Assistant Manager (EAM)Location: Queenstown.About Us:Marsden Hotel Group is a premier hospitality provider with 17 properties countrywide including 4 in the Queenstown region, known for our commitment to excellence and unparalleled guest experiences. We are looking for a dynamic Executive Assistant Manager to join our team in Queenstown and help elevate our operations to new heights.Position Overview:As the Executive Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the hotel's leadership team while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across our Wyndham Garden and Ramada Remarkables properties. This position requires a proactive individual with exceptional organizational skills, strong leadership qualities, and a passion for delivering outstanding service.Key Responsibilities:Assist the Area General Manager in daily operations, ensuring efficient management of hotel functions.Oversee administrative tasks, including rosters, payroll, correspondence, and reporting.Coordinate and manage special projects and initiatives as directed by hotel leadership.Support guest relations by addressing concerns and ensuring high service standards.Lead and mentor staff, fostering a positive work environment.Collaborate with department heads to enhance operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.Monitor and manage budgets, reports, and performance metrics.Qualifications:Proven experience in a hospitality or management role, preferably in an executive assistant capacity.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with keen attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel management system, Opera Cloud.Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.Solid understanding of industry trends, customer preferences and competitive market dynamics.A degree in Hospitality Management or related field is preferred but not required.What We Offer:Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunity for professional development and career advancement.A vibrant work environment in one of New Zealand's most beautiful destinations.Employee discounts at our hotels and partner businesses.How to Apply:If you're ready to take the next step in your career and join a dedicated team committed to excellence, please submit your CV and a cover letter via the Seek apply link.
