The New Zealand Psychologists Board (NZPB) is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant who can provide exceptional support to our busy Chief Executive, Board and Committee members.About UsNZPB is the regulatory authority for psychologists under the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003.

Our small and dedicated team works to uphold high standards within the psychology profession.Key Responsibilities include:Preparation and distribution of agenda packs for Board and Committee meetings ensuring content is uploaded to the Board document platform.Fully and accurately record Committee meetings including minutes and action items and distribute for approval.Provide executive-level administrative support to the Chief Executive, including calendar management, correspondence, and meeting coordination.Conserves CEO/Registrar's time by reading, researching and steering correspondence, drafting letters and documents, collecting and analysing information.Act as the primary point of contact for Board members, providing logistical and administrative support as required.Maintains and continuously improves appropriate systems to enable efficient and effective processes.To be successful you will have:Proven experience in an Executive Assistant or senior administrative role.Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Demonstrates a minimum of a developing knowledge and understanding of the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and use of basic Te Reo Maori.
Expresses willingness to develop this knowledge and understanding further.Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.A high degree of discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).Experience in minute-taking and preparing Board or committee materials.A proactive approach with strong problem-solving abilities.Knowledge of or experience in a regulatory or government setting is desirable but not essential.Why Join Us?At the NZPB, you will be part of a small and supportive team that makes a meaningful contribution to the psychology profession and public safety.
