Actual salary dependent on your experienceKo ake mahi - What you'll doAs an Executive Assistant to the Director Emergency Management, you will have a natural flare for being highly organised and have the ability to juggle multiple tasks whilst providing a seamless service to both the Director and wider leadership team.You will proactively stay in sync with the Director by strategically prioritising tasks. These include managing calendars and workflows and engaging with the leadership team, staff and external parties on initiatives. You'll help to keep the Director's day moving smoothly and the wider team humming.Key to this role is maintaining a high level of professionalism, confidentiality and efficiency to support the Director with developing and maintaining strong key relationships.Key Responsibilities:Prior experience working as an Executive AssistantExcellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to address complex situations calmly and effectivelyAttention to detail and excellent time management and organisational skillsThe ability to build and maintain strong relationshipsA proactive, enthusiastic and energetic approachAbility to support the wider team in the event of a health responseAbout Us:At Manatu Hauora – Ministry of Health we are the kaitiaki of the health system, providing leadership and driving strategy and performance.
