Excavator Operator

Kirimana Consultants are looking for full-time Excavator Operators in the civil construction industry based in Auckland.
Projects will vary from 6-12 months with opportunities to extend.

About You:   You bring 1-2 years of civil infrastructure experience and a keen understanding of Health & Safety regulations.
You pride yourself on producing high-quality work and have the ability to read and interpret construction plans to assist the Site Supervisor in project delivery.
You're a team player, take direction well, and are dedicated to achieving project success.
Effective communication in this role is key as you are operating mobile plant.
You are available to work 40+ hours per week (Monday to Friday, occasional Saturdays depending on the project).
You have a strong worth ethic, are reliable and show commitment to your team.
About the Job: Assisting the site team with preparation of the project when needed Understanding and reading in detail the plans to ensure the excavation is carried out precisely and in a timely manner Digging trenches, earthworks, backfilling and pipelaying Assisting the Site Supervisor with installation of structures such as steel beams, columns, concrete, or retaining walls Maintenance and repair work to existing pipelines and structures Following the safety procedures on site, wearing the correct PPE as all times, and being inducted onto the relevant projects as required Ensure all equipment and tools are looked after and taken care of while on site Requirements: 1-2 years' experience in civil infrastructure and operating 1.5T-20T diggers.
Valid Class 1 Full driver's license.
RTW Endorsements.
Must be a New Zealand citizen or resident and legally allowed to work in New Zealand.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
Provide references to verify your experience.
