Excavator Operator - Christchurch

Do you want to be more than a number, working in tight-knit team where your views are respected and welcomed?
Extrastaff are chasing an experienced excavator operator, who is well versed in final trim, prepping for asphalt, concrete, foundations and more, in machines up to 14T. You will also need to be proficient in boxing for concrete, asphalt and form working.
You must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and be well presented as you will be liaising with clients on a regular basis.

What you will be doing:

Working on residential and commercial sites
Working on driveways, foundations, carparks and more
Operating under OH&S standards
Boxing up for concrete and asphalt

What you will bring to the table:

NZ Citizenship or Residency
Class 1 Licence with WTR endorsements
Based in Christchurch or surrounds - only those already local will be considered, unless there are exceptional circumstances
Excellent communication skills
Good level of physical fitness
Good awareness of health and safety
Can pass a pre-employment Drug Screening test
A sense of humour never goes amiss
A team player, who is able to work unsupervised to a high standard
