Our roadshows travel the country, delivering crucial information to property management professionals. Our mission? To connect, inspire, and elevate the property management industry.YOUR ROLEAs our Head of Events & Marketing, you'll take the reins of planning and executing world-class events while managing our social media presence. This dual-focus role is perfect for someone who's equal parts strategic thinker and hands-on executor. You will be working closely with the Design Team & Executive Team.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESEnd-to-End Event ManagementVenue & Dates - Confirm annual event dates, negotiate favourable venue hire rates, and manage supplier arrangements.Sponsors: Scout, engage, and manage sponsors. Organise sponsorship payments, questions, and booth arrangements.Partnership Strategy: Develop and execute engagement plans to secure long-term sponsorships and industry connections.Ticket Management: Organise delegate tickets and manage related inquiries.Event Collateral: Collaborate with our designers to create and print event collateral.Event Coordination: Ensure the smooth planning and execution of all events, handling logistics and troubleshooting on-site.Social Media ManagementContent Creation: Develop compelling copy and collaborate with designers to create impactful, visually appealing content.Social Media Communications: Manage all social media platforms for events before, during, and after, ensuring timely and engaging updates.Event Audience Engagement: Build and maintain a vibrant social media presence, fostering strong connections with attendees, sponsors, and the wider industry.General Engagement: Build and maintain a vibrant social media presence, fostering strong connections with clients, potential clients, and the wider industry.Campaign Strategy: Plan and execute targeted social media campaigns to maximise event awareness and participation.Analytics & Feedback: Monitor social media performance, gather audience feedback, and refine strategies to enhance engagement for future events.REQUIREMENTSMinimum 5 years of experience in event coordination or management.Proven expertise in managing end-to-end event planning and execution.Exceptional attention to detail and forward-planning skills.Strong decision-making abilities, particularly in budgeting and logistics.Outstanding relationship-building and networking skills.Excellent reporting and project management skills.Creative thinker with a knack for crafting engaging social media content.A great listener who can take clear instructions and deliver results.WHAT WE OFFERA collaborative, supportive team environment.Opportunities to innovate and leave your mark on industry-leading events.The chance to travel across New Zealand as part of our roadshow team.A role where your creativity and organisational skills will shine.Ready to take the lead on unforgettable events and impactful social media campaigns?Apply now with your CV and a cover letter showcasing your expertise in event management and social media.
