We have an exciting opportunity for an Events & Community Manager to join the New Zealand Retail Team.
About the role As the Events & Community Manager, you will play a pivotal role in orchestrating impactful events that resonate with our target audience. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the success of events while adhering to budget and time constraints. We are seeking a dynamic individual who possess strong project management skills, a deep understanding of marketing strategies, and a knack for fostering community engagement.
Driving Business Performance (50%): Act as a brand ambassador, forging connections between customers and the Lorna Jane brand.Ensure that events align with our brand identity and attract high foot traffic.Drive community activation by collaborating with gyms, run clubs, markets, and sporting events.Adhere to the events calendar to achieve monthly budget targets.Engage with our ELITE CLUB and organize exclusive events to enhance brand awareness and revenue.Utilize activation brochures effectively to drive sales and brand awareness.Educate attendees on the fabrics, technology, and quality of the Lorna Jane brand.Building Relationships/Networking (25%): Reach out to local businesses to establish partnerships and collaborations.Cultivate relationships with mall management and local council contacts.Build rapport with Store Leaders to streamline event coordination.Identify PR opportunities within the regions to amplify brand visibility.Operations & Planning (25%): Conduct thorough research to secure suitable event venues.Develop and manage an events calendar, planning at least 6 months in advance.Negotiate quotes and agreements with vendors and sponsors.Assist in event marketing efforts to maximize reach and engagement.Monitor timelines and budgets to ensure seamless execution.Analyze the success of each event and prepare comprehensive reports.Coordinate all operational aspects of events, stepping in to resolve any issues that arise.About You… Proven experience in a fast-paced retail or customer-centric environment.
