Te Whiwhinga mahi| The opportunity As one of our Event Transport & TTM Specialist, you will be responsible for the operational planning for major events in Auckland. This will involve coordinating event details and generating operational planning documents. You will also be required to provide operational support during the running of major events, which will include weekend and evening work.
This role is also responsible for the financial administration, which will include raising purchase orders, providing administrative support with budgets, contract management and procurement.
In this busy and varied position, you will also become qualified to review and approve Traffic Management Plans and prepare reports to obtain the necessary approvals for temporary road closures and temporary parking restrictions so attention to detail and an interest in process-driven work is key.
Na tau rourou | What will you bring? As a seasoned professional, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in an event and/or transport planning role, you will bring proven coordination/event management abilities, as well as;
Demonstrated experience in transport planning ideal Experience with managing stakeholders Experience with financial administration processes Excellent written and verbal communication skills STMS qualification is advantageous, however training will be provided for the successful candidate Experience with SAP is advantageous Our successful candidate must also have incredibly strong organisational, administration, and planning skills. The ability to develop and maintain strong relationships will be essential.
Due to the nature of this role, you must have the ability to be flexible with hours and days of work. You will need to be able to work evenings, public holidays and weekends as required.
