Event Manager - Live Experience, Brand & Marketing Join ASB's high performing Live Experience Team North Wharf location, competitive salary, banking & insurance benefits 10-month fixed term opportunity ASB's Live Experience team is united in all that they do. They are a close-knit team who play a key role in keeping ASB's customers and brand One Step Ahead. Leveraging their event experience capability to engage and inspire ASB customers, communities, and employees, this dynamic and ambitious team is committed to delivering world-class live experiences.
Due to the nature of events, the hours might be changeable week to week to meet event delivery, so flexibility will be required.
You will be actively involved in the exciting and challenging world of ASB's live experience programmes. These include the strategic design, planning, and delivery of internal engagement and high-value customer events and activations to leverage key partnerships.
Reporting through to our Live Experience Manager, you will get to impart your industry-leading events knowledge & experience to plan, implement, and champion events at ASB. Working with New Zealand's best agency partners and world-class event software, you will be building on the high standards this team has established for ASB, working collaboratively to develop our events programme even further and ensuring that we always stay 'one step ahead'.
To be successful in the role, you will be highly skilled in end-to-end event management in a corporate environment with experience working across all phases of the business event life cycle from ideation to delivery. You are someone who would describe themselves as a creative with an innovative approach to your work and bring fresh market ideas.
You will be technically proficient with running virtual events through MS Teams and Zoom and have a basic understanding of technical production. You will equally be at home as the face of ASB at our events, welcoming and directing guests, as well as being behind the scenes sourcing suppliers, writing risk and health and safety plans, run-sheets, and managing budgets - this role is varied to say the least!
