Te Wananga o Raukawa Pulse is looking for a dynamic and experienced Events and Marketing Lead to join our team!
About Us:
Te Wananga o Raukawa Pulse is a premier team in New Zealand's ANZ Premiership netball league. We are dedicated to delivering top-class netball experiences both on and off the court, through our home matches, community outreach, and strong sponsor partnerships.
Role Overview:
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and delivering Pulse home games and key events, as well as overseeing the execution of our marketing strategy. You'll work closely with sponsors, ensuring we meet our commitments and help them leverage their partnerships for maximum impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Management:
Plan and execute Pulse home games, including fan engagement activities, sponsor activations, and managing match day volunteers.
Deliver key events such as the season launch, pre-season matches, sponsor networking functions, and end-of-season awards.
Work closely with the community team to integrate fan and community engagement into events.
Marketing Support:
Collaborate with the CEO to develop and deliver a comprehensive marketing plan for the Pulse season.
Oversee the Pulse social media calendar, ensuring timely and engaging content across all platforms.
Support the development and execution of ticketing, membership, and promotional campaigns to drive attendance and brand awareness.
Sponsor Management:
Work with sponsors to ensure contractual obligations are met, including signage, hospitality, and activations.
Assist sponsors in leveraging their Pulse partnerships for mutual benefit, with a focus on innovative activations and community engagement.
Lead the delivery of sponsor activations during match days, including halftime events and special promotions.
About You:
Proven experience in event management, marketing, or a similar role (experience in sports events is a plus).
Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple events and campaigns simultaneously.
Strong relationship management and communication skills, able to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, including sponsors, venues, and media.
Social media savvy, with experience managing content calendars and online marketing strategies.
A passion for netball and community engagement.
