Aboutthis role: Ensurejobs are correctly costed and that manufacturing production is uninterrupted toensure the highest quality, error free product to our customers within thetimeframes required to achieve targets and comply with NZ3604.
Aboutyou: National Certificate in Frame and Truss Manufacturing or aQualification in Quantity Surveying (desired, but not essential)Experience in the building supplies or frame and truss sectorsHave an understanding of construction methodologyExperience with lean manufacturing methodology and continuousimprovement ideologiesKnowledge of MiTek SoftwareKnowledge of NZS3604:2011Full class 1 New Zealand driver's licenseAvailable to fulfil a permanent, full-time (45 hours per week), Monday to Friday position (with occasional weekend work.Managing the costing, reports, and quotations on a range ofresidential and commercial building projectsProduce high quality plans, costing sheets and manual drawingsManagement and ownership of quotations ensuing a high level ofaccuracy of pricingEnsure profitability while still complying with NZ3604Ensure interruptions to production are minimized.Working with internal Project Managers, Details, external BuildingsArchitects, Designers and Engineers as required to ensure excellenceWhat'sin it for you?
