AMI HomeHub is a wholly owned subsidiary of IAG New Zealand with branches located in the major metropolitan cities of New Zealand and provides market leading home reinstatement services for IAG customers.
As our newest Estimator, your job will require you to ensure that all designated jobs are estimated accurately and within client KPIs, all repairs completed and delivered in a timely and profitable manner. This position will be based out of our Christchurch office full-time.
Tasks will include (but not limited to):
• This role will work in tandem, as a team with a Case Manager, to deliver quality projects on time
• Generate causation reports, detailed scope of works and estimated costing to repair property damage
• Ensure all costs are accurately entered into our software to ensure all trades have correct information
• Follow all designated client processes and ensure timely completion and submission of all required documentation
• Ensure the scope is clearly communicated to and adhered to by all parties involved
• Oversee a variety of trades across different locations
• Ensure all relevant compliance material e.g. Producer Statements, manuals, warranty council documentation information is obtained
• Conduct final handover and signoff
To be successful in this role you will need:
• Building and/or estimating experience
• Sound understanding of NZ Health and Safety legislation
• A sound knowledge of NZ construction legislative requirements, compliance and accepted building practices
• Experience in scoping and costing projects, project documentation, project management methodology and software
• Customer focused work ethic
• Great communication skills, both written and verbal
• Good IT skills- email, word, excel etc
• Experience with job management software programmes
