Role: You are responsible for the effective and timely delivery of cost estimates as part of the tender process.

Key Responsibilities: Assist with pricing inputs in accordance with the tender plan created for each project Monitor market trends, research where the market is heading, and advise the business on the portfolio of forward opportunities Prepare estimates by calculating various statistical data such as quantity take-offs Set up tenders using CCS (Candy) computer-based estimating and cost control software Participate in post-tender negotiations and provide supporting analysis and management of identified risks Recalculate quantities in the design or materials change Utilise operational understanding to problem-solve whilst providing "best value" tender responses Identify potential commercial advantages, opportunities, and problems in the tendering process and communicate findings with relevant stakeholders Contribute to any other duties or projects that are reasonably requested Requirements: Tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent knowledge Expertise in electronic tendering systems CCS Candy, Cost X, or similar Proven experience in estimating, ideally in roading or contracting industries Minimum of 5 years experience Knowledge of the roading and contracting project management industry is preferred If you think you could be interested in learning more about this opportunity, contact Tanisha for a confidential discussion or apply below.
