About The RoleAs an experienced Estimator, you'll play a vital role overseeing cost estimations for major tenders and contracts from inception to completion. Collaborating closely with cross-functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders, you'll develop accurate and comprehensive estimates that align with project goals, budgets, and timelines. By participating in planning sessions, evaluating site-specific requirements, and identifying potential challenges unique to our industry, you'll help craft competitive bids that deliver outstanding results. Lead pricing efforts for tenders, ensuring strategies align with market trends, business goals, and contractual obligations.Collaborate with internal teams, Operations Managers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and effective tender submissions, aligning operational estimation activities with project goals.Build and maintain financial models, pricing tools, and a centralised pricing library for efficiency and accuracy.Conduct scenario planning and sensitivity analyses to evaluate the impact of pricing decisions.Leverage historical data, market trends, and industry insights to develop accurate pricing strategies and track project costs for ongoing accuracy and refinement.Support post-tender evaluations by analysing project performance against estimated costs and identifying areas for improvement.Skills & Experience We're Looking ForWe're looking for an experienced Estimator with a minimum of three years in the field and a proven ability to scope and prepare tenders and quotes successfully. This role demands technical expertise, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset. Key skills and attributes include:
