Description
Our Higgins National Estimating Division is looking for an Intermediate Estimator to join the Green Team. You will be predominately working on large tenders valued up to $30 million supporting our regional teams.
Reporting to the Estimating Manager, you will join a medium-sized team of experienced Estimators who manage the full tender process, including:
Risk prediction, assessment, and valuation;
Preparation, review, and delivery of tenders and quotes;
Pricing of variations;
Attribute writing and detailed bid submission.

What you'll bring to the role:
Proven experience working on civil construction and roading projects and tenders.
Hands-on experience working on tenders and bids and their complexities.
A result-focused, commercially astute outlook and a practical approach to problem-solving.
Ability to handle a diverse workload, whilst finding creative and forward-thinking solutions.
Technical qualifications preferred.
Client engagement experience, ensuring clients/customers understand our bids and resolve concerns or issues.
Proficient with CCS Candy, Benchmark and Microsoft Projects.
Sound contractual knowledge especially NZS.
Design software knowledge (AutoCAD, 12D) is advantageous but not essential.
