You will be responsible for the preparation and pricing of competitive, comprehensive, and commercially sustainable tenders, ensuring offers of service are delivered on a timely basis and with a high standard of presentation.The salary is negotiable and dependent on experience but will be in the region of $150k-160k.Main duties will include:Liaising with clients and the design team during the negotiations pre-construction phase and providing budget and value engineering advice where required.Developing tender programmes as part of the pre-construction phase and assisting with the development of full construction programmes.Negotiating procurement or merchant supply contracts to the best advantage of the division.Ensuring that cash flow projections are met with timely claims and payments, and that suppliers' and subcontractors' payments are made in a timely manner.Preparing comprehensive and accurate reports on project status, including all financials, progress, and exceptions.About you:A minimum of 8 years' experience in Estimating/Quantity Surveying.Disciplined and self-motivated with a positive approach to work.Customer-focused and committed to providing a high quality of service.Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.Ability to delegate tasks.Effective time management skills.Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.Effective and professional communicator.Computer skills and keyboard accuracy.Applicants must be based in New Zealand and have the legal right to work in New Zealand.
