Flexible and enjoyable working environment Consistent reviews and a starting salary of between $55k - $65k Professional membership and training Personal career development and progression Consistent work on a varied array of projects What you'll be doing: Assist with pricing inputs in accordance with the tender plan created for each project Prepare estimates by calculating various statistical data such as quantity take-offs Set-up tenders using estimating and cost control software Participate in post tender negotiations and provide supporting analysis and management of identified risks Utilising operational understanding to problem solve whilst providing "best value" tender responses Identifying potential commercial advantages, opportunities and problems in the tendering process and communicating findings with relevant stakeholders A bit about you: Hold a relevant Qualification in QS or Estimation 12+ months experience as an Estimator or QS Be proficient in the tendering process for projects of varying size and complexity Have an understanding of commercial and/or residential construction contracts Able to analyse project plans and specifications to determine materials, labour, and equipment needs Have a keen eye for detail to ensure compliance with project reqs Able to identify and mitigate potential risks.
Be accurate, timely, and detail-oriented, with proficiency in pricing software (CostX experience is preferred).
