Oracle ERP Cloud Consultant is a business engagement and solution configuration position focusing on utilizing your skills and experience for clients from various industries and sizes; requiring a good understanding of ERP Finance subject area and its processes.
The Consultant should be eager to work in a fast-paced environment to deliver projects. It is expected that the Consultant will deliver functional design and configurations in the areas of Finance – General Ledger, Accounts reconciliation & Reporting, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable; and work with technical consultants to design system extensions and integrations.
The right candidate will design & configure the solution to meet client requirements with out of the box configuration to solve key business challenges and maintain close communication with the project lead. The right candidate will understand and respond to stakeholders' varied business needs.
Responsibilities
Manage the definition of functional requirements for Oracle Project Management Cloud – Projects Planning, Resource Management, Billing and Revenue Management as a subject matter expert to understand system requirements and ensure successful solution delivery.
Exposure to Oracle ERP: General Ledger, Accounts reconciliation & Reporting, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets and Accounts Payable.
Gather system, data requirements through a variety of techniques (workshops, interviews, etc.) and translating these into functional solutions (configurations).
Undertake business analysis workshops and create functional requirements document, functional design documents and contribute to sprint plans.
Contribute to the solution design and functional set-up and execution of functional project work streams.
Demonstrate the ability to work systematically and logically to analyze situations, resolve problems, identify causes and anticipate implications.
Design functional solution with other satellite applications.
Migration of data from legacy applications.
Establish test plans and develop customer-specific customizations.
Work in agile/waterfall projects from time to time.
Data migration.
Functional testing.
Training activities.
Manage user and stakeholder expectations.
Other functional responsibilities as may be required from time to time.
Identify risks and issues with appropriate escalation channels to ensure timely project delivery.
Assist with presales activities and engagement proposals as and when required.
Requirements
Minimum 4 years + experience in Oracle ERP Finance projects with at least 1 Cloud ERP Project delivery.
Knowledgeable about the business processes and systems around Enterprise Finance management, and/or Procurement & Supply Chain is essential.
Deep functional background with relevant experience of using reporting tools and understanding of how Oracle ERP is used in the business operations.
Oracle Cloud Finance certification in GL/ AR/ FA/ AP.
Operational Support - required to support Senior Managers in deploying solutions.
Experience working for large MNC or Big 4 consulting practice.
