Equipment TechnicianFull time, permanent roleClinical EngineeringHealth New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora Waitemata DistrictWe are looking for an equipment technician to help us maintain our patient mobility equipment in all Waitemata District clinical areas.Te Whatu Ora - Waitemata District has two main campuses and various clinics across the region and we need someone who ideally has experience repairing and maintaining Hill ROM and Howard Wright Beds, various makes of stretchers as well as a variety of mobility equipment including wheelchairs, trolleys, plinths and other related equipment.This position will be based at the North Shore campus but will require travel to other clinics across the region so a full, clean driver's license will be required.Ideally you will have:A mechanical qualification and be able to carry out Electrical Safety testing of equipmentBe familiar with our departments, equipment and processesWork independently much of the timeExcellent time management skillsAccountable for your work schedulesAble to prioritise workloads as requiredA commitment to health and safety, high work standards and the district values is also a must as is a 'can do' attitude.
