Clinical EngineeringHealth New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora Waitemata District
We are looking for an equipment technician to help us maintain our patient mobility equipment in all Waitemata District clinical areas. Te Whatu Ora - Waitemata District has two main campuses and various clinics across the region and we need someone who ideally has experience repairing and maintaining:

Hill ROM and Howard Wright Beds
Various makes of stretchers
A variety of mobility equipment including:

wheelchairs
trolleys
plinths
other related equipment


This position will be based at the North Shore campus but will require travel to other clinics across the region, so a full, clean driver's license will be required.
Ideally, you will have:

A mechanical qualification and be able to carry out Electrical Safety testing of equipment
Familiarity with our departments, equipment, and processes
Ability to work independently much of the time
Excellent time management skills
Accountability for your work schedules
Able to prioritise workloads as required
