Epsom Lodge is a 24-7 residential facility that provides 84 short-term accommodation beds for individuals who have been identified as having an immediate housing need, many of whom present with high and complex needs including Justice and/or Corrections requirements, mental and physical health needs and addictions issues. We provide 12+ weeks emergency accommodation, support and after care, to assist in finding suitable long-term accommodation and begin the journey of addressing other wellbeing goals.
About The Role We are looking to appoint a suitably qualified Director.
This position is responsible for providing overall operational, financial, property and people management of the Epsom Lodge service, with the outcome of supporting people in finding suitable long-term accommodation.
What your key responsibilities will be: Lead and manage the effective service delivery, contract performance, service planning, and risk management of Epsom Lodge.Responsible for financial stewardship and sustainability across Epsom Lodge.Ensure practice policies, processes, and frameworks are promoted, enhanced, and adhered to.Leads and fosters the Epsom Lodge team, supporting the overall organisational and team environment.Full line management responsibilities for and coaching of direct reports.Contribute to continuous quality and service improvement.Support bi-cultural practices and opportunities for growth in cultural responsiveness.Our ideal candidate will have: Relevant tertiary degree level qualification in Social Work, or a related field.Proven success in delivering services in medium sized, complex social service.Five plus years' experience in management in a medium not-for-profit organisation.Experience working with MSD or HUD preferred.A clean full driving licence.Demonstrates a strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi.Strong relationship building skills and networking capabilities at all levels.Ability to think strategically, articulate, and implement a vision.Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing at all levels.Strong planning, organisation and time management skills.Experienced and skilled at working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.High level of initiative.Thrives on achieving goals, with minimal supervision, in a fast-paced environment.Candidates should be adaptable, energetic, self-motivated and committed to our mission of 'caring for people, transforming lives and reforming society.'

The starting salary for this role is likely to fall between $95,250.08 and $122,464.38. This role is covered by the social worker pay equity agreement and the final remuneration will be negotiable dependent on the experience the preferred candidate brings to the role.
