Childcare & Outside School Hours Care (Education & Training)We are a girl's boarding school with 130 students aged from 13 to 18, resident seven days a week during school terms, though these numbers drop significantly over the weekend.We are looking to recruit a Weekend Activities Supervisor whose responsibilities will include working closely with the House Managers and the Director of Boarding to maintain a safe and supportive environment for students at the house while planning and implementing engaging activities for our junior students. As a Weekend Activities Supervisor, you will be responsible for looking after the students during the breakfast and morning routines to ensure the safety of all girls at the hostel, as well as any EOTC safety planning and risk assessment for activities conducted off-site.Some of your duties will include, but are not limited to:Doing the morning wake-upMonitoring and assisting sick studentsPlanning and researching engaging and age-appropriate activitiesEnsuring all students are taking adequate food to sustain them for the dayEnsuring daily duties are doneEnsuring students are behaving in a safety-conscious mannerMaking sure students are where they need to be in a timely fashionHours of work are Saturday 7:00am-2:30pm and Sunday 7:30am-3:00pm (term time only - all meals provided). This position is commencing in late January 2025, but some training will be provided prior to the start time.This job would suit a person who can form positive relationships with students and uphold health and safety guidelines at all times during the hours stipulated. You must be able to work consistently with routines and have some relevant experience working with teenage girls.
