We're seeking an Enterprise Programme Management Office Manager to join the dynamic team at Whakatane District Council. If you're ready to make a tangible impact on the community's future, this role is for you! As the Enterprise Programme Management Office Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in establishing and managing our Enterprise Programme Management Office (EPMO). Your mission? To drive the successful delivery of capital and critical projects by maintaining a clear and transparent work programme. Key responsibilities include: Leading the adoption of a project management framework to improve performance. Establishing consistent governance systems for successful project delivery. Developing a performance culture across the organization. Collaborating with the senior leadership team to align strategic priorities with project delivery. Building relationships with stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing. Ensuring accuracy and appropriateness of project data management and reporting. Ko wai koe | About you The background required for this role includes: A tertiary qualification in Planning or Project Management. Minimum of five years' leadership experience in project management. Strong understanding of local government processes and regulations. Experience in establishing or leading a PMO/EPMO. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience building strong stakeholder relationships across an organisation.
