Fixed-term or secondment opportunity available until the end of 2024 to support our Chief Medical Officer based at Tauranga Hospital.
The primary purpose of the Personal Assistant is to provide high quality, timely, one-to-one support to the Chief Medical Officer. This job exists to support and extend the capacity of the Chief Medical Officer in all clinical and managerial administration planning and coordination, general management and reporting tasks that the Chief Medical Officer undertakes. Absolute confidentiality is imperative in much of the clinical and HR information the post-holder will handle, as well as dealing with matters of a highly confidential and sensitive nature. Equally, this position has a key role in promoting optimal information sharing with the wider Senior Medical Staff group.
The successful candidate will have extensive work experience as a Personal/Executive Assistant within the Health sector, and ideally a relevant graduate qualification. As a self-motivated individual who takes pride in their work, you will also have excellent relationship-building skills in order to navigate communications with the BOP Leadership Team, the General Director of Operations, Medical Leads, Heads of Departments, as well as wider Government and Community Agencies. If you are methodical by nature, confident in your communicative skills and masterful at juggling conflicting priorities and demands, ensure you apply to this expression of interest today.
