We are looking to contract a Skills Point for the design and development of a programme of study for the New Zealand Certificate in Digital Media and Design Level 4 Version 2.Essential Skills:Subject matter knowledge and expertise in the digital media and design discipline.Experience in curriculum development.Desirable Skills (not essential):Experience in writing programme documentation to meet qualification graduate profile outcomes.Experience in teaching digital media and design level 4 and above.Experience working in the digital media and design industry and understanding the essential skills and knowledge required to succeed.Ability to work with relevant stakeholders and education professionals to design current, learner-centric programmes.A skilled writer with a high standard of written English and excellent communication skills.Familiarity with NZQA approval and accreditation processes.Understanding of online and distance learning environments.Main Tasks:Under the guidance of the Portfolio Lead (PL) and Principal Learning Designer (PLD), design a programme of study for the New Zealand Certificate in Digital Media and Design (Level 4), including course descriptors (course titles, aim, learning outcomes, content, and summative assessment plans).Complete the Programme Document templates, participate/assist with internal and external stakeholder consultation, and make necessary changes to programme documentation as required.Attach a cover letter and CV that includes your relevant experience and capabilities for the role.
