Our standards are high so should you apply to join us you will undergo a comprehensive selection process that will assess you against our core requirements.We offer fully paid training, starting with a one-week induction at Hawkes Bay Regional Prison, followed by 5 weeks of training at our National Training Centre in Trentham, Wellington, and then 5 weeks back at Hawkes Bay before graduating.
Your learning journey will continue with professional practice and development support, along with a clear pathway to career progression.

This role is based at Hawkes Bay Regional Prison in Hastings.Utu a-tau | SalaryStarting salary of $67,519.
Once in the role you have the opportunity to achieve national qualifications of varying levels which increase your salary.
Level 3 ($74,197) and Level 4 ($79,713).
