Who are we looking for?

A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced Planner to join our small close-knit team, working on a variety of projects across our quarry and concrete plant sites.

About the role:

You will manage your own projects with support from the Consents Manager. This could include big projects expanding a quarry, consenting a solar farm, groundwater consents, or consenting a new concrete plant. It could also include smaller projects looking into whether a diesel tank needs consent, preparing a replacement air discharge consent for an existing site, or expanding opening hours of a concrete plant.

Underpinning this is a company culture which seeks to protect the environment, make sustainable improvements, and promote staff ownership and empowerment.

Providing advice to operational staff to ensure consents are operating within the current consent conditions.

Undertaking iwi engagement as necessary.

Liaising with the local community as required.

Keeping a broad overview of all new policy and legislative changes which may impact the business.

Travel will be required to the various Stevenson sites on occasions. This will be between various sites in the Bay of Plenty, Waikato, and Auckland.
