We have an exciting leadership position available in our fast-paced Regulatory Team. Reporting to our Licensing and Compliance Manager you will be responsible for the Environmental Health Team. This is a permanent, full time role based primarily in our Thames Office.
The team covers a wide range of responsibilities, including registration and verification of food business, Food Safety Officer duties, inspection of premises registered under the Health Act 1956, assessing and reporting on alcohol licence applications and manager's certificates as well as investigating general health nuisances.
The Team Leader takes a leading role in workload management as well as themselves undertaking verifications of businesses operating under a template food control plan. The role also holds the role of Chief Licensing Inspector. So a thorough understanding of requirements for the Alcohol Regulatory & Licensing Authority as well as the Food Act 2014 and Food Regulations 2015, is essential.

If you have skills in developing talent and creating high performing teams through growing and empowering individuals, along with:
Have experience, and relevant qualifications, in working in environmental health and public health compliance and enforcement roles
Have exceptional communication, customer service and decision-making skills with a calm, solution focused approach to issues and a smile on your face
be able to develop strong relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally making sure we keep our finger on the pulse, and meet needs
love processes and the ability to get your teeth into continuous improvement
Be passionate about coaching staff and enabling them to be the best.
