What is the role?
We are looking for an Environmental engineer to join our Wellington team. The role is for an environmental engineer with experience in stormwater management and design, integrated water management, and water-sensitive design. What You'll Do
Examples of our work include wetland and stream design and restoration, water quality monitoring and modelling, hydrology and hydraulic modelling, advice on water-sensitive design best practices, environmental impact assessments, asset management, and geospatial data transformation. As an environmental engineer, typically working on several projects at a time, you will experience various work that will further shape your engineering career.
What We're Looking For

You have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Environmental/Civil engineering and 2-4 years of relevant experience.
You have fundamental engineering knowledge, maybe through work in hydrology, hydraulic, and stormwater quality modelling, land development or brownfield development design, stormwater management planning, or general civil and three-water design. You are proactive and are developing strong industry connections.
You hold strong environmental values and have a passion for sustainability.
You actively engage in a culture of learning and are willing to continuously develop knowledge of Te Reo Maori worldview, diversity, equity and inclusion, sustainable outcomes, and low-carbon initiatives.
