AWN client sectors include semi-conductor manufacturing, data centres, chemical distribution, pharmaceuticals/biopharmaceuticals, wind farms, large scale residential developments, and public infrastructure.Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated Environmental Consultant to work on a large construction project on one of AWN's key client's sites in the Kildare. The role will involve environmental/waste compliance auditing and reporting. Candidates should have good people skills, be driven, and also work well in a team environment.Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesManagement of waste management programme for a large construction project together with the AWN site-based team;Waste and environmental auditing and support;Contributing to the on-going development and improvement of environmental management processes and procedures for the project;Training and awareness; andDevelop working relationships with client and aim to obtain repeat business from client.Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience:Minimum BSc or BA (Hons) degree in environmental science or related discipline.Prior experience beneficial but not essentialEnthusiastic "self starter" comfortable working on a busy construction projectExcellent communication skills - comfortable liaising, meeting and dealing with clients, contractors and other team members on a day to day basisProficient with MS OfficeFull Clean Driving Licence or Working towards.We offer a competitive salary plus a range of benefits including a contributory pension, maternity leave, discretionary company bonus and up to 25 days holiday.#J-18808-Ljbffr
